Julie
Hale - Tracy
Julie Hale started acting with Dublin Youth Theatre, completed a diploma
course in theatre studies from TCD, studied with Uta Hagen at the HB Studio,
New York and Tim McDonald at the New Theatre, Dublin. Her theatre work
includes Lovechild, Ceaucescu’s Ear and Pericles
with Gerry Stembridge. Sunshine Boys at the Gate Theatre, Exiles
by James Joyce at The Friends of the Italian Opera Theatre in Berlin,
Abigail’s Party and The Gingerman at the New Theatre,
Dublin. The Gingerman then transferred to the Irish Arts Centre,
New York where she also did Red Roses and Petrol. Her film
and television work includes My Left Foot, Ash Wednesday,
Bloom, Troubles, Black and White, When Brendan
Met Trudy, Flick, Black Day At Blackrock, Bobbie’s
Girl, Fair City and Rain Dogs. |
