WC Bernie’s second feature film won the award for best feature
film at the 2007 Waterford Film festival. The film had its world premiere
at the 2007 Dublin Film Festival, international premiere at the 2007 Montreal
World Film festival, screened at the 2007 Galway Film Fleadh, the 2008
Cannes Film Festival, in competition at the 2008 Cairo int. Film Festival
and the 2009 Las Vegas Int. Film Festival. The ensemble cast includes
Liam O Mochain (The Book That Wrote Itself), Julie Hale (Ash
Wednesday, My Left Foot), Karl Shiels (Batman Begins, Veronica
Guerin), Mary Murray (The Magdalene Sisters, Adam and Paul),
Tim Ruddy (Gettysburg, Gods and Generals), Sean McDonagh (Kisses,
The Magdalene Sisters), Rory Mullen (Hunger), Adam Goodwin
(My Boy Jack) and newcomer Julia Wakeham (The Tudors). |
