Bernie
Grummell - Producer
Bernie made her feature film debut as a producer on Liam O Mochain’s
critically acclaimed cult movie The Book That Wrote Itself. The
film starring O Mochain and Antoinette Guiney featured George Clooney,
Kenneth Branagh, Melanie Griffith and Chazz Palaminteri in cameo roles.
The Book That Wrote Itself had its world premiere at the 1999 Galway
Film Fleadh and international premiere at the 1999 Vancouver International
Film Festival. The film went on to screen at a further 20 international
film festivals worldwide, won The Lodgers Award (Critics Prize) for best
film at the 1999 Austin Film Festival and was released worldwide.
In 1996, Bernie co-produced the short film Fortune, starring Liam O Mochain,
