Waldron - Director of Photography
Mark frequently collaborates with director John Carney. His work with
John includes November Afternoon - a low budget black and white
production - was voted Best Feature of 1997 by the Irish Times, and ran
on the US festival circuit. Three series of the hit RTÉ television
series Bachelors Walk, the most successful independently produced
drama in the history of Irish television and Park screened at the
Montreal world film festival. He recently did some pick ups for John Carney
on the musical feature film Once, starring and featuring the music
of Glen Hansard of Irish rock band The Frames. The film had its first
Irish screening at the Galway Film Fleadh, and had its US premiere at
the Sundance Film Festival in January 2007, where it won the audience
award. His other work as a DOP includes Zonad... you know... from Space?,
RTE comedy series The Last Furlong, Naked Camera, The |
